This model was bought a year or so ago with the intentions of finishing it. It's never been a complete finished model and so I list it as new. It was a bit of a mess, having been "lying about for years" as the previous owner said, but I put a new motor in and Doug made me a belt for it. There's also a spare one. Prior to that it was running on a noisy metal Mamod type one. I rebuilt the track (trams,) made the platforms fit properly and and painted them and now they spin smoothly. I improved the steps by putting on a new tread with a "lip" on the edge of it. Before that, there was just a 45% join between the step and the riser. They look a lot better now. All of the uprights and top frame is there, along with the rounding boards, but the pay box is rubbish. Lighting troughs need to be made and fitted, but I'll give you my plans if you don't have a set. There are 12 painted bikes. Even if the buyer decides to repaint this, there's still a lot of time saved with the potential of a good model at the end of it. I'm selling this and some other stuff due to ill health. To put it bluntly, I don't think I have the time to finish them. But it would be nice if I'm wrong. The buyer, assuming that there will be one, will obviously have to come and fetch it. I don't do Paypal.
